The Best Brands College and Best Brands Gala evening event is designed to honor and foster these brand successes while providing a strong platform for new, future-facing communication solutions. The events have long become established highlights of the marketing industry’s calendar; Serviceplan Group, GfK, ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE, WirtschaftsWoche, Markenverband, DIE ZEIT, RMS, and Media Impact extend an annual invitation to the Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich.

The 17th awards ceremony, held in February 2020, was opened by Dr. Jane Goodall with an outstanding keynote speech, with Swedish indie rockers Mando Diao as the show act. The event was presented by Klaas Heufer-Umlauf.
