Environmental Protection and Sustainability

We have been dealing with the topics of environmental protection and sustainability for quite a long time, and not only because our Limelight staff has produced offspring amounting to over 40 kids.
When constructing our corporate facility, we decided to use superior insulation and a wood chip boiler, the system of which is equipped with a respirable dust filter. Compared with a heating system using wood pellets, our "fuel" comes directly from the woods and the manufacturing process does not require additional energy.
What is more, our photovoltaic system was implemented in December 2009. It generates 62 kW, which amounts to about the amount of electricity that we use per year.   SunnyPortal.
By constantly renewing our vehicle pool, our vehicles feature the best possible exhaust emission class, which leads to a considerable decrease in CO2 and respirable dust emissions.
One important contribution to protecting the environment is the use of LED spots instead of conventional halogen light. Six years ago, we started developing our own LED lamps www.Limeled.de and are successfully renting them out to our clients. This technology uses 80% less electric energy compared to halogen light.
